Terms of Service

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OPEN LECTURES, SEMINARS AND EVENTS WITH ILJA GRZESKOWITZ

Preliminary remarks

The general terms and conditions listed here are part of all contracts between the customers of Ilja Grzeskowitz (hereinafter referred to as “customer”) and Ilja Grzeskowitz and apply to open events, lectures and seminars. Different terms and conditions of the customer are not valid. Verbal promises and ancillary agreements require written confirmation by Ilja Grzeskowitz. Separate general terms and conditions apply to in-house events of any kind (e.g. lectures, training courses, seminars, coaching).

§1 Registration and payment
You can book a lecture, seminar or coaching using the registration form or email. The customer will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail within a maximum of one week (time of contract conclusion). An invoice will be sent in a separate email.
If it is an event with a limited number of participants, registrations will be considered in the order in which payment is received.
The amount of the remuneration is based on the valid prices in the registration form and is to be transferred to the account specified in the invoice. The place in the seminar will be reserved upon receipt of the money on the account. Participation in an event by Ilja Grzeskowitz requires full payment of the fee up to 4 weeks before the start of the seminar, workshop or coaching, unless Ilja Grzeskowitz has made a different written agreement with the customer. If you register less than 4 weeks before the start of the event, payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date, but in any case before the start of the event. Ilja Grzeskowitz reserves the right to reject registrations without giving reasons.

§2 Cancellation Policy
right of withdrawal
The customer can revoke his contractual declaration within 14 days in text form (e.g. letter, e-mail) without giving reasons. The period begins after receipt of this instruction in text form, but not before the contract is concluded and not before we have fulfilled our information obligations in accordance with Article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 Para. 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our obligations according to § 312e Abs. 1 sentence 1 BGB in conjunction with Article 246 § 3 EGBGB. Sending the cancellation in good time is sufficient to meet the cancellation deadline.
Consequences of revocation
In the event of an effective revocation, the services received by both parties are to be returned and any benefits (e.g. interest) surrendered. If the customer cannot return the service received to us in whole or in part or can only return it in a deteriorated condition, he must compensate us for the value if necessary. This can mean that he still has to fulfill the contractual payment obligations for the period up to the revocation. Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for you when you send your cancellation notice, for us when we receive it.
special instructions
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the contract has been completely fulfilled by both parties at your express request before the customer has exercised his right of withdrawal.

§3 Cancellation, change
A lecture, seminar or workshop can be canceled free of charge up to 12 weeks before the start of the event, provided Ilja Grzeskowitz has received this in writing (e.g. by e-mail). If written cancellation is received up to 6 weeks before the event, 50% of the seminar or workshop fee must be paid. In both cases we charge a processing fee of €100.

If a cancellation occurs after this time, the full seminar fee is due. The customer is free to send a substitute participant, provided that he meets the requirements for admission to the relevant seminar. These regulations apply exclusively to the normal price. Only the 14-day right of withdrawal applies to early bird prices or other discounted offers that include a discount. Ilja Grzeskowitz reserves the right to refuse participation in an event before or during an ongoing event without giving reasons. For serious reasons, e.g. Disruption of the seminar climate or similar, the full seminar fee is due. Otherwise, only services already received (pro rata, if applicable) will be invoiced.

Ilja Grzeskowitz is entitled to change the venue at short notice, provided that the associated changes are within reasonable limits. Ilja Grzeskowitz is also responsible for exchanging a trainer, speaker or seminar leader without giving reasons and without any claims arising from this for the customer.
Ilja Grzeskowitz is entitled to cancel an event for important reasons. Important reasons are, in particular, too few participants or being prevented from attending due to illness. Ilja Grzeskowitz can also withdraw from the contract if event rooms that were made available to Ilja Grzeskowitz by third parties for the execution of the event are no longer available for reasons beyond Ilja Grzeskowitz’s control and adequate rooms cannot be rented in good time. Ilja Grzeskowitz is entitled to mutually agree on an alternative date with the customer. The participant expressly waives any further claims against Ilja Grzeskowitz.

Claims against Ilja Grzeskowitz cannot be asserted. In particular, a claim for reimbursement of any travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of work is excluded, unless such costs arise due to grossly negligent or intentional behavior on the part of Ilja Grzeskowitz.

Mission

Unternehmensphilosophie

These beliefs drive us
  • We believe that companies change when people change.
  • We believe that a culture of change beats even the most elaborate strategy.
  • We believe that we are responsible for our results. For the good and the bad.
  • We believe that in every problem lies an opportunity.
  • We believe that motivation is based on purpose and values and not on external factors.
  • We believe that in every human being there is a great fire just waiting to be ignited.
  • We believe that when you change, everything changes.
  • We believe that innovative thinking, hard work and commitment are the basis for success.
  • We believe in individuality and diversity instead of equality.
  • We believe in simple solutions and not complicated problems.
  • We believe in clarity, decisiveness and integrity.
  • We believe in results, not announcements.

code of values

These values drive us
  • Responsibility: We can only be successful together if everyone takes personal responsibility.
  • Gratitude: We go through life with an attitude of gratitude. We give before we take.
  • Diversity: We respect everyone as they are and treat them individually.
  • Integrity: We act and do what we promise.
  • Support: Nobody wins alone. That’s why the team is sacred to us.
  • Family: Success has a clear sequence for us: family first, then the business.
  • Meaning: For us, a job is not just a job. Everything we do is based on meaningfulness in order to make the world a little bit better every day.
  • Humor: We like to laugh a lot, especially about ourselves. For us, work has to do one thing above all: be fun!
  • Quality: We have high demands on our products, our service, but especially on ourselves.
Of course there are also some NO-GO’s for us:

Indifference. arbitrariness. Cowardice. Egoism. bumbling. Cynicism. lack of humor black painting. Force. Hate. dogmatism. know-it-all. Opportunism.

mission

corporate philosophy

The corporate philosophy is based on our entire thinking, acting and working. Businesses change when people change. That’s why I firmly believe in two things: the power of individual personality and the magic of a culture of change driven by strong values. When the individual needs of each person are in line with the overarching organizational goals, a magical cocktail of passion, commitment and operational excellence is created. We summarized this in our mission statement:

“My business approach is radically human, because I am firmly convinced that in times of ever faster change, people are the most important success factor for the future. I help people to lead a life based on self-determination, personal freedom and meaning. I support organizations and companies to seize the great opportunities of change and to establish a change culture characterized by shared values, diversity and meaning. The individual definition of success is the powerful fixed star, the way there is change.”
